Production & Dispatch Assistant — Clothing / Uniforms

Part-time role | Approx. 25 hours per week | Murarrie, Brisbane | Flexible hours available

The Uniform Edit is looking for a highly organised, reliable and self-motivated person to join our small team in a varied production, dispatch and administration role.

This position would suit someone who enjoys being hands-on, working with detail, managing multiple tasks and being part of a friendly, fast-moving small business. You will work closely with our Production Manager and help manage the process once goods arrive at our warehouse — from unpacking and checking stock, through to embroidery coordination, packing, dispatch, courier bookings and basic administration.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, coachable, upbeat and confident in their ability to manage their own workload.

About the role

Once goods arrive at our warehouse, you will help oversee the post-production process. This includes checking incoming stock, preparing items for embroidery, packing orders, booking couriers, dispatching customer orders and assisting with office administration.

This is a part-time role of approximately 25 hours per week, across five days, based at our head office in Murarrie. We are flexible with hours — you may prefer to start early and finish early, or work school-friendly hours.

  • Pack away and send client samples

Office administration

  • Answer the phone when needed
  • Assist with basic office and IT queries
  • Order stationery and office supplies
  • Maintain stock and inventory spreadsheets
  • Assist with mail merges and document formatting
  • Provide cover for the Production Manager when required

Accounts support

  • Check supplier invoices
  • Forward invoices to accounts for data entry
  • Assist with basic Xero data entry where required

Skills and qualities we’re looking for

  • Excellent attention to detail — our customer orders are highly customised
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Confidence working with spreadsheets and basic document formatting
  • Ability to manage your own workload and prioritise tasks
  • Clear communication skills
  • Confidence speaking with clients and suppliers by phone
  • A positive, coachable and reliable attitude
  • A team-focused approach
  • Experience with Xero or similar accounting software would be helpful, but is not essential
  • Warehouse, dispatch, stock control, admin or apparel experience would be highly regarded

Training will be provided for the right person.
